   We'd like to start using OpenEdge 12 for development, not yet for production.
   Are there any known issues ?
   
   Should we wait for a new release of SCL or does the currect release work with 12.0 ?
   We are on Release 11.3 #50666@2019-02-18 UTF-8

   Hi Carl,
   
   we’re in the process of certifying OpenEdge 12 for the use with the SmartComponent Library. We’re not aware of major issues, based on testing with the CQC release.
   
   Our tests with the FCS release are still ongoing. We expect to finish them in the next couple of days. We will announce compatibility with the new OpenEdge release through our release notes. Formally, we’ll support OpenEdge 12 from that release on.
   
   Having that said, you should be o.k. with the mid-February release. However, to be on the safe side, please use the release we announce compatibility with.
